Wonderful market with super nice service. Get all my Mexican ingredients here. Tacos also great!

La Morenita Market is truly a hidden treasure you must try!! I love their burritos, fresh produce, meat, poultry and seafood! Their staff are top notch.

I live close to this market and I go fairly often. I've catered food from them on Christmas and thanksgiving. I bought 3lbs of chicken and 3lbs of asada, ready and cut for tacos. I also got a small tray of rice and beans and their green and red salsas. Their food is flavorful, hot, and delicious. The workers are all friendly and I always feel welcomed. Sometimes it can get busy but I don't mind because checkout is quick. It's lively and bustling which I appreciate.

Great little market with the best taqueria in the back. Ordered two super burritos and a super nachos....sooooo good! Very friendly service!

This place has solid burritos! I had a large carnitas burrito with everything! It's is the same quality as it was when I used to live near the place. The staff is friendly, there's many products hard to find elsewhere and it has a neighborhood feel! I miss coming to this place but I'm glad I got to go down memory lane

Pupusas! Cheese, cheese and pork, cheese/pork/beans, chicken and cheese! Choose them all! So delicious! Casual, cafe-style location. Many tables or take to go! Fast service but we ordered online and picked up. Ample parking but don't forget to pay the meter!

This review is for the deli in the back of the market. I had a craving for Mexican, and boy, did La Morenita deliver. We got a carnitas super quesadilla, a pollo super burrito, and two tamales (one pork, one chicken). The entire bill came out to about 25 bucks, and it's enough food to get us through multiple lunches and dinners, especially with the three baggies of tortilla chips they gave us. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the carnitas - this is the real deal. Juicy, succulent morsels of simmered pork - reminiscent of high-quality Japanese chashyu. They are very generous with their portions, even for the quesadilla! Their salsas are all excellent, too - they gave us three kinds, and they were all delicious and tasted distinct from one another.

4.5 stars! La Morenita means "little brunette", and this small local market is as cute as its name! This place might look like a typical Mexican grocery store, but its hidden secret is a taqueria counter in the back that offers up some seriously good food including tacos and burritos--but the real feature is the variety of stewed and grilled meats, which are all laid out on the steam table! Tacos are the way to go to try a bunch of different items, and I got four different ones: the lean grilled carne asada (thin steak), the flavorful al pastor (in an adobo marinade), the juicy fried carnitas, and the juicy, tender barbacoa (shredded beef). Each of these were freshly chopped to-order into little pieces before being put on two corn tortillas, which were dressed with chopped onion, cilantro, salsa, and lime wedges! Every taco was so flavorful, and the quality of meat was simply amazing! In addition to the tacos, they also offered pupusas, a Salvadoran corn cake stuffed with beans and cheese, and served with curtido (a pickled cabbage slaw) on the side! The pupusa was warm on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside--so comforting and tasty!
